
1. What type of
legal services does Brough, Chadrow & Levine, P.A. provide for
its clients?
Our Firm focuses
its practice on community association law. Since Brough, Chadrow
& Levine, P.A. is a full service law firm, we are able to handle
most legal matters that arise in the day-to-day operation of a
community association. These services include, but are not
limited to the collection of delinquent assessments through
foreclosure, covenant enforcement through injunction, mediation,
arbitration, initiation of litigation on behalf of the
association, defense of litigation brought against the
association, governing document review and amendment, review of
proposed contracts, attendance at Association meetings upon
request and preparation of opinion letters as to the
Association’s legal rights and obligations. We also have of
counsel relationships through our Law Firm with attorneys who
handle personal injury and medical malpractice claims.

2. Does the Firm charge its clients an annual retainer fee?
NO, the Firm
believes that it is a privilege to represent its clients and
therefore does not charge an annual retainer fee. We do require
that a written agreement for representation be executed. The
agreement for representation is structured so that the
Association may terminate the agreement at any time.

Does the Firm advance costs or attorney's fees in collection
matters?
YES! The Firm
advances ALL costs associated with collection matters such as
filing fees, process service charges and recording charges.
Under normal circumstances, attorney’s fees and costs are
collected directly from the property owner(s).

4. Does the Firm provide status reports to its clients?
YES! The Firm provides status
reports to the Association at no charge. In addition, the
Association may obtain, sort and print the status reports via
the Client Login section of our website through a secure
password protected login. The status reports are available 24
hours a day, 7 days a week in real time for the Association's
convenience.

5. What type of information does the status report contain?
Status reports
contain a chronology of each and every file from the time the
file was received to the time it is closed.

6.
Does the Firm facilitate repayment agreements to allow property
owners to pay their delinquent accounts?
Yes. With the
authorization of our clients, we do prepare and monitor
repayment agreements. Repayment agreements generally do not
exceed six (6) months in duration and also require the property
owner(s) to remain current with all other Association
assessments that come due during the term of the repayment
agreement.

7.
How long does it take for the Firm to process a new matter once
it is turned over to the Firm by the Association?
The Firm usually
commences proceeding on all accounts within forty eight (48)
business hours after receipt.
